NELLIE was our favorite when we spotted her from out of the blue at the MDGA Doe Show around 1991. Then the nexy year we watched her two dau's INDY and JUSTICE switch places at the top of their class.
JUSTICE'S full-sister-same-get INDEPENDENCE appraised 92 and milked 02-00 300 3650 102 2.8 101 2.8, and finished FIRST AT THE '97 NATIONALS. NELLIE was Maryland's dominant show doe.
Thanks again to Susie Knapp (and Ma Brown and Kathy Iager and Brad & Terri Wigle) we are able to continue our program of linebreeding on NELLIE with the addition of JUSTICE. CHALLENGER ws a Sire Summary buck.
JUSTICE has never been shown as a milker because she only has 1/4 of an udder. JUSTICE has markings similar to a HOLSTEIN. She has a fabulous mammary, at least the reamaining half, and an excellent rear end assembly, big arc and thick straight pasterns. Usually those strong bones mean less milk but not this time.
JUSTICE'S dau FREEDOM was #1 on 2003 Top Five for Alpine Grades, with 305 4440. EVERY jUSTICE DAU TURNED OUT GOOD!
